How To Pay For Your Doula

Every birthing person deserves access to support during their journey. They deserve to feel heard, understood, cared for, and advocated for. Every person who wants access to a Doula should absolutely be able to have one and financial need should not be a deterrent for accessing and receiving that level of support. With this belief in mind I have set up different options to make my services financially accessible.

I understand that paying for a Doula in addition to every other expense can be overwhelming. If my fees and payment options do not seem feasible to your situation, do not hesitate to speak on it. There is always a way!

All services require a non-refundable deposit of 50% unless paying in full

Payment Plans

If you are in need of a payment plan option, one can be created based on your family’s financial need and situation. After your initial deposit, we can discuss monthly or bi-monthly payment options based on your selected package.

Village Contributions

If desired, a donation fund can be created with a personal link to share with your friends, family, and community. This can be done for every package. This is a great option to include in your baby shower registry, if you have one, just ask about Gift Certificates. No contribution is too small!

Barter + Trade

Have a service or product that you think I’d be interested in or you want to share? Let’s discuss a trade. After all, our ancestors bartered their goods and services, why can’t we?

Insurance Reimbursement

At this time I do not directly accept insurance. However, many insurances offer reimbursement for Doula Services. Please ask your insurance company about using your FSA or HSA to pay for services or how you can get reimbursed. We can work together to figure out if this is an option for you.
