Hi, I’m Emily! Welcome to Inaru Wellness, a space for healing and birthing, the ancestral way. I am a Full Spectrum Doula, a Spiritual Healer + an Intuitive Reader.

Inaru Wellness was founded in 2021, as a labor of love and Spirit. My sister became pregnant during the pandemic of 2020 and I found myself providing support in ways neither of us knew she needed. Heart centered and Spirit led, I found myself on the path to birth work and wanting to help others, bringing back our ancestral traditions of birthing and wellness. Birthing is as much a Spiritual experience as it is physical, mental and emotional. I aim to honor that, however it may look for each individual. 

I believe in bodily autonomy, cultural competence, and empathy. I provide evidence based care that centers and educates families of color so they can make informed decisions regarding their care and their journey. I aim not to empower, but remind them of the power already within. I believe in using intuitive, holistic, and culturally competent approaches to birth and healing, to provide individualized care and support for each family through pre-conception, pregnancy, birth and postpartum. 

While I do believe that experience is the best trainer of all, I strive to constantly educate through courses, mentorships, training, and reading. I completed my Full Spectrum Doula training with Sumi’s Touch in 2021, and since then have taken a number of courses and joined a mentorship program with Manhattan Birth. I am currently training as an Integrative  Lactation and Feeding Specialist through Manhattan Birth.

When I’m not supporting families through physical birth, you can find me supporting individuals through Spiritual birth, as a Spiritualist and a reiki practitioner. Or in the kitchen healing others through food and herbs.
